ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

are waiting for you.

Welcome to Endless Blue Resort

Owner’s Statement regarding his legacy & trophy asset, the Endless Blue Resort in New Mexico

Dear Endless Blue Resort Friends & Family,

I recently came across a YouTube video by Black Crows ski company and it’s captivating images prompted me to create and deliver this message.

My name is Petr Lukes and I am the founder, principal and shareholder of the CIMEX GROUP, one of the most distinguished private equity firms originating in the Czech Republic and holding assets in Northern and Central America. The focus of our group is real estate ownership and asset management. At the beginning of our journey 33 years ago, we created a vibrant portfolio of trophy and legacy assets and we continue to grow our portfolio to a present day.

Among the most notable investments are the creation of OREA Hotels & Resorts, the largest owner - operated hotel portfolio in the Czech Republic. In addition, our journey was marked by investments outside of hospitality real estate. We hold a sizable office building portfolio in Prague and at the beginning of our journey, we actively pursued investment in the energy sector. Via our ownership of the Energoprojekt company, we carried out project documentation & industrial design for major nuclear power plants, such as the Temelin Nuclear Power Plant.

At the moment, our focus is on luxury and upper upscale hospitality assets, investing alongside the renowned Gencom Group, a Miami based global hospitality asset owner and manager. We also focus on trophy and legacy residential assets, such as the residence on Forest Road in Vail, CO, where we recently completed a state of the art modern mansion which is viewed by many as the most luxurious ski in/ski out residence currently visible on the global market. Our other project in Eagle County, CO is the Berlaimont Estates, which (re)introduces a unique concept of 35-acre lots with a luxury residence on each lot. This embraces the original way of low-density settlement as opposed to so typical high density, clustered developments that surround us today.

This message is intended to introduce to you a very different asset – one that is close to our hearts and one that ranks the highest among our legacy and trophy family assets. The Endless Blue Resort in New Mexico is an undiscovered jewel and it is my pleasure to introduce it to you.

Formerly known as Ski Rio Costilla, our family purchased the defunct resort over a decade ago and decided to return it to it’s original state. Featuring in excess of 3000 acres under private ownership, the resort is used as a private family retreat.

Even though hospitality runs in our blood and our business portfolio features assets managed by the top luxury hospitality brands such as the Four Seasons, The Ritz Carlton, The Rosewood or The Auberge, you will not find any of the typical hospitality luxuries within the Endless Blue Resort.

What you find here is different and unique. You will discover an unparalleled pristine wilderness. You will find yourself surrounded by wildlife habitat of unimaginable beauty. You will observe how an enchanted land once urbanized by ski lift infrastructure is slowly and naturally returning to it’s original state. With your own eyes and senses, you will experience how nature is taking back what was once disturbed by human hand. The tranquil environment surrounding your will energize you in breath-taking fashion. You will be embraced by a richness of the habitat, and consequently, you will become part of the legacy journey of recovery of the resort.

Despite the immense developable potential, we decided to not further urbanize the site and instead, to initiate a natural process of it’s recovery to a pristine state. Our son Michael spent the most beautiful years of his life living on the property, falling in love with the outdoors and helping us create a multi-generational legacy approach of restoration a recreation of resort’s natural beauties. Today, we continue with the legacy he created.

At the moment, we offer the resort for unblock rentals with a price of $ 100,000/week. The proceeds will be strictly used to offset the cost of recovery of the resort. You will receive full access to the mountain, you will be housed in adobe style casitas at the base of the mountain. A heavy duty, custom modified Ford truck will be at your disposal and will take you around the resort. Sky is the limit on the experiences you can create. Instead of being pampered by luxurious accommodation and 5*services, you will receive a once-in-a-lifetime experience that may appear rough at first sight, but in fact holds an incredible and unmatched potential of bringing you closer to nature’s gifts and beauties in way you cannot absorb anywhere else in the world but here. The enchanted land awaits you and your family members.

Sincerely Yours,

Petr Lukes, Resort Owner

Learn the history.

Under its former name Ski Rio Costilla Resort, the resort was first developed in 1982. By 1987, Ski Rio was the first resort in New Mexico to welcome snowboarders. The ski area created a sponsored free-riding team along with amateur snowboarding events. The area purchased a new pipe dragon to make a state-of-the-art half pipe, New Mexico’s first.

Season 1995-1996 was Ski Rio’s best on record: over 70,000 skier visits. Ski Rio operated until January 2000 and has been closed to public since. It is currently being operated as an exclusive private ranch/private resort under new ownership.
